Showing off CLD Challenge Layouts and Template Freebie #4

Oh my, it's almost the end of July. I'm in a semi-panic mode right now because my daughter's 4th birthday is coming up and I still don't know what to prepare and when to celebrate it. Her birthday is on the 31st which is a working day and I have to choose a date and time wherein most, if not all, of our family members could attend.

It will be just family this year -- which is a good thing since I couldn't prepare for a big party with a 3-month old baby always in tow. When I say 'big' party that would mean hiring all or some of these people - a host, a mascot, a puppet show cast, a magician, giant-bubble machine, etc. And, preparing props for the party like balloons, a pabitin or pinata, games and prizes, the loot bags, party decors and favors. Most importantly, the food -- among which there should always be spaghetti, barbeque, ice cream and cake. That's just for the kids. Oh, and the staple at every Filipino party -- the lechon (roasted pig). Whew! I am already pooped just thinking about it. Which makes me glad that the next 'big' party for Ashley will be on her seventh birthday.

Oops, I think I spoke too soon. I forgot about Liam. We will definitely celebrate his first birthday with a bang. But that is still 9 months from now. Still have time to prepare....I hope.

I was able to finish some layouts today for the challenges at Color Line Designs. I get to receive this fabulous mega kit called Sizzling Summer if I finish just 3 layouts the entire month. Don't you think that's a great deal!
